AKHMC was established to carry forward the altruistic mission of Padmashree Dr. B.S. Chaubey, who pioneered hemodialysis in Nagpur in 1970. Under Dr. Sameer Chaubey’s leadership, we have evolved into a tertiary care center of excellence.

From a 10-bed renal unit in 2011 to a 36,000 sq. ft. multispeciality hub today, AKHMC offers 15+ specialized departments, ensuring we provide comprehensive medical solutions in one place.

Modular OTs: Three state-of-the-art theatres with HEPA filters for ultra-clean surgical environments.

ICU: A 20-bed unit equipped with modern ventilators, multipara monitors, and 24/7 intensivist cover.

Dialysis Unit: Partnered with Nephroplus, offering HDF (Hemodialysis) and isolation dialysis for infectious cases.

Accommodation: Tiers ranging from General Wards to Super Deluxe Suites featuring in-room dialysis.

Our Journey

The journey began in 2011 as the "Renal Care Centre," a compact 10-bed facility. Driven by the increasing need for integrated renal and metabolic care in Vidarbha, we expanded into the Asian Kidney Hospital and Medical Centre. Today, we occupy a massive 36,000 square foot facilitydesigned for high-intensity medical engineering. Our history is marked by regional "firsts," including the first ABO Incompatible Transplant in Central India and the first Laparoscopic Donor Transplant in the Nagpur region.
